LASER LIP AND TONGUE REVISION
Did you know that many infants find their feeding ability hindered by a tongue and/or lip tie? Tissue restriction for the infant may cause pain for mom with nursing, or difficulty breastfeeding for some infants. Tongue and/or lip ties can also cause speech and dental problems for children and teens. The benefits of laser treatment include less discomfort, no bleeding, and more complete treatment compared to the conventional scissors method.
HOW WE CAN HELP
We love to see infants and families in our clinic, and can usually fit patients in right away for the consultation and procedure if indicated — we don’t want trouble with breastfeeding to continue. We’re happy to submit your dental insurance directly, or we can explain how to submit for medical benefits. If you have questions about insurance benefits or the procedure, contact us right away!
